About Jeff
Jeff Eastman is a veteran of both the US Army and the US Marine Corps. He attended graduate school, where he studied professional counseling. Upon graduation and licensure as a therapist, Jeff accepted a position with the VA counseling solely combat veterans and survivors of sexual trauma experienced while serving in the military. It was while working for the VA that Jeff was trained and certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy, one of three evidence-based therapies used by the VA for treating PTSD.
Upon leaving the VA, Jeff worked various positions in the mental health field, but always doing some counseling on the side. Eventually, Jeff went into full-time counseling again, and then started Frontline Trauma Recovery. With the goal of providing only trauma therapy, Jeff has dedicated himself to seeking out individuals who have experienced traumatic events so they can know the healing that therapy can provide.
